Peter Schiff is known for his doomsday predictions on the US economy, and being a permabull on the price of gold. Why is he famous? He predicted the housing market collapse and the ensuing deep recession we experienced in 2007-2009.

Bitcoin is on fire. At the time of me writing this, $BTC (on Coinbase) is at $13,832.74, up 21.72% today.
While we aren’t yet to the December 2017 high of $19,783.21, Bitcoin’s current run is pretty incredible. Per the WSJ, Bitcoin is now at its highest level in 17 months, and has rallied over 45% this past week.

There I was at Gate C7, Ohare International Airport, bemoaning the fact that my flight to Orlando was going nowhere fast. I was bound for a work event to speak with clients about the market and their behavior but at this rate I would never get there. Luckily for me I didn’t have to be there until 5pm the next day so while the delay was frustrating I still had plenty of time to spare.
